I see it a bit like "low-code", in negative way. Great for simplifying some charicature of a workflow, but if you have to do something with any corners, which is most nontrivial real work, it breaks down and you've got to work within the "simplified" construct to hack your way back to a solution that does what you want.

(And to your point, the added annoyance of a chat based interface that adds ambiguity for no benefit)
