I use Wallabag[0]. Open source and self-hostable, but there is also a paid option[1] as well. That's _just worked_ for me. Has browser extensions and mobile apps, tagging and searching and in-app site rendering with links out to the original URL.
I'm not sure this gets frequent development time (last iOS update was about 6 months ago) but everything feels feature complete for my setup using Firefox and Android on Linux and macOS. Haven't had any desire to switch
