Because Reddit is a hive mind due to the way upvote/downvote works. It only has one "correct" opinion. Everything else is downvoted and rejected.

It's mostly an anonymous network while Twitter isn't.

Lastly, Reddit is controlled by the mods in a way. Mods have all the power. Influencers do not.

Interesting point about Influencers. Havent seen that before. Didnt realize Influencers have a harder time on reddit. So Influencers require a different architecture.
