Huh? I looked up

- Rostov 57°11′N 39°25′E

- Michurinsk 52°53′N 40°29′E

Looks like Rostov is further north than Michurinsk??

Most likely Rostov refers to Rostov-on-Don [1], at 47°14′N 39°42′E.

Assuming a spherical earth, Michurinsk is ~630 km further north. The figure given in the article is probably rounded.
