But I think I recall Ragnorak having a very disconnected trailer from the actual movie. Like the MCU uses the same trailer people for each one and they never got that the Thor storyline was supposed to be funny.

Your point is well taken, but the trailer would have to be pretty disconnected from the actual movie for it to be worth the time, IMO. :-)
