Comment on Ask HN: Why are there so many shady browsers in the iOS App Store?parent

Comments

Firefox and Brave are more privacy respecting than the lesser known shady ones. Firefox and Brave can block ADs, mitigate fingerprinting, enforce HTTPS etc

Whether a browser is privacy respecting is defined by whether it is zero telemetry or not and both of these are not. Also you said yourself that these less known browsers come with AD blockers too, even VPN. So I can not see the distiction you are making? (other than that the first group of browsers is "more known" and the second is "less known", but they behave in pretty much the same way)
