I can't find any chess books by Lisitsky or Lissitsky.

Did you perhaps mean Lipnitsky ("Questions of Modern Chess Theory - A Soviet Classic")?

There's also Lisitsin/Lisitsyn ("First/Second Book of Chess Strategy").
