Why would they "inevitably fail"? I doubt this has any significant operating costs: as long as one person pays for this joke of a product, they've succeeded about as much as they possibly can. The only remaining question is how long they'll keep the site online.
If the number of people who call themselves Christians yet fall for charlatan televangelists is any indication, there will be people who fall for something like this too.
