Comment on India’s ‘Neutrality’ on the Ukraine Conflict Could Hurt It in the Long Run

Comments

India has long been sucking on first, the USSR teat and latterly the Russian one. They have bought a lot of aircraft and other weapons so they are dependant on the spare parts supply. They also buy food. They are also a country that has been held back for decades by antique Soviet supply and services policies. Every business action is considered bad, because it employs people, and thus profits from the exploitation of their labor - it sounds laughable, but the layer upon layer of beurocracy about all aspects of business all want fees - BTW, they also want a cash head of the line payment, because there are 2000 people ahead of you in the permit queue, so you pay and he stamps the permit and on you go to the next hand out-stretched.... The relict socialism and the rampant graft is what has prevented India from repeating China's growth pattern and still does. Look at Korea's performance wrt India...

Neither Boris Johnson nor Biden is trust worthy.

India's neutral stance is commendable, there is a line open to Russia.

The west has done nothing material on the ground other than lightning up their embassies or hoisting Ukrainian flags.

The west has been using Ukraine as a proxy to engage in an unwinnable war with Russia.

Propping up a neo-nazi using street violence in a country where the west has no cultural affiliation was the beginning of the conflict.
