Comment on Ask HN: No diversity at university: how to make life more interesting?

CS is a dry subject that attracts autists for better or worse. Try something extracurricular and/or pick up a hobby. I wouldn't transfer unless you don't like the subject matter. Do know that university will teach you the most boring aspects of computer science, it is much more interesting in the real world.

^ this is a good answer.

I got an engineering degree but I rarely hung out with the other STEM majors. I hung out with English, philosophy, and other non-STEM people. I also got involved in some other non-STEM related campus organizations. They were way more fun and threw interesting parties. I had way more interesting discussions with them.
