The outrage should be in the other direction. They were shuffled by default, WTF is with that?
If i want to shuffle, I turn it on. Every player on earth did this before this, I think Spotify wanted to burn the beans for a signature trash taste.
It's shitty shitty shitty UX to shuffle your play button. I'd hit a shuffle button for that.
Every outlet reporting outrage needs to shut up IMHO. This is a good decision.
