I might be in the minority, but describing the site as "a new way to cherish memories" does not really entice me to sign up. Visiting the Twitter account led me to http://betali.st/startups/momment , which sounds more interesting.
Actually we had put up the entire description there but thought it was giving too much away. Do you guys think giving more details would make you sign up all the more?
You don't gain anything by hiding what your product is from potential users. If you're worried about someone stealing your idea, don't be (not that its a bad idea, it just doesn't generally happen like that).

Yea, cherishing memories sounds like it's for old people, really. No?

"Giving too much away"? That makes no sense, do you regularly sign up for stuff you have no idea what it's for?
I certainly wouldn't consider signing up with that little information.

Ask yourself how often you engage on a similar level if detail.
