I see your point but I think that's a bit different, mozilla and webkit do that as a way of providing css features that should eventually make their way into standard CSS ... Microsoft has this bad habit of doing things totally different and trying to force them on everybody.

The html5/javascript thing sounds really exciting though. Lets see what happens.
