I used to work for a embedded debugger company that sold similar boxes.Unfortunately, it looks like OpenOCD is dead. The last release was 2017.−sannee5yv0.11.0-rc2 got released around two weeks ago. But I never had any issues using the v0.10.0 for what it's worth. If your debugger and MCU are supported, there is not much that could go wrong.

Unfortunately, it looks like OpenOCD is dead. The last release was 2017.
v0.11.0-rc2 got released around two weeks ago. But I never had any issues using the v0.10.0 for what it's worth. If your debugger and MCU are supported, there is not much that could go wrong.
