I've been laid off a couple of times in my career for reasons I couldn't control. Anger, fear, anxiety, then relief and hope. It's always resulted in growth and more wisdom. This is life. Let yourself feel all the things. If you loved your old job, then you know what you're looking for. Otherwise, I'm sorry if it sounds glib, but this is an opportunity.
