Partially because of the "low-end" keyword, for chips, volumes are key criteria, hisilicon sold way more chips there than others, it does seem like a monopoly to me though. Two years ago I read somewhere it has 80% of the chips shipped in surveillance market, not only for cameras, but NVR/DVR as well.
