I despise having to configure web servers, but a few months ago I had to set one up on my server and I chose nginx. It was a breeze to set up (though occasionally I still struggle when I need something new in the config of a specific site, but I can usually figure it out reasonably quickly and am usually surprised by how straightforward it really is (once you know how)). So far, its done everything I want and then some.

tldr; I hate web server, but I like nginx.
