This looks like a standard recruiter email anyone with a github profile or Linked In profile with “software engineer” anywhere in it gets. I doubt the sender even knows about Killed by Google.
I had a wild hope that maybe Google was sick of their reputation for killing all the things, and they wanted to start the process of eschewing that reputation by hiring this guy to shine a light as to when they were relapsing into their bad ways.
