Comment on Ask HN: Is it moral to indirectly aid a corrupt government?

This is a subjective topic, as moral decisions are individually made based on the morals the individual subscribes to. If the individual doesn't feel guilty about doing this, then how can anyone else claim they are amoral?

Socrates said, "To know thyself is the beginning of wisdom." This is what I believe he meant, to know what your own morals are. If you know them, you cannot violate your own conscience.
