Google, Facebook, CIA, Pentagon... all have been hacked.

All the great people are immediately hired by the company they’re actually working for, so they’re always left with the mediocre and terrible.

By "great people" I assume you mean the best talent. I assume you also mean that corporate politics (bootlicking, backstabbing, parasitic behaviour...) has no role to play in these hirings.
