Maybe that's what the majority will be doing in 250 years, I couldn't tell you. But no matter what fantasies we indulge in a hypothetical simulation, this world here still exists, and eventually we will have to leave this planet or perish. I don't know about anyone else, but even given a fantastic simulation-world, I would treat it as just another game to distract me, possibly for a long-distance voyage across the stars. This is of course assuming we can't improve our intelligence any further, and with higher intelligence I might find something much more pleasing and interesting in the real world than the simulation, or desire to write out the part of me that likes the simulation.
