Actually it doesn't cover promises/tasks/rx or any other monadic stuff at all. The Clojure part also is probably not the most practical since it lacks core.async. However it's still a very good read and highly recommended. One reason is that it covers most of the concepts that make up a solid concurrent program (immutability, sharing data by communicating, ...).
