I was reading the comments on this recent post (https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=9476398) and there was a debate on which companies are considered innovative or useful. So my question is: what do you personally consider as innovative or useful? Please don't limit yourself to just companies, feel free to mention technology or ideas as well.
