Ask HN: Obstacles to Re-Structuring an Incorporation

A partner and I incorporated a small web business (I'm not going to call it a startup), however I plan on de-escalating my role and responsibilities from a co-founder with 50% equity into more of a consultant role in order to continue to maintain the app. I'm hoping there's others with experience with this that can speak to their own and how it affected their business relationship.
