Ask HN: What is your must-read pick for HTML/CSS design?

I'm a backend developer with a traditional CS background who is trying to expand his front end knowledge for my consultancy. I'd love a killer suggestion to up my design game.

The CSS Zen Garden book seems to have been a defacto read, but it's published in 2005. Is it still relevant? Other suggestions?
