Ask HN: Can you hire a JS aficionado?

HN, I really need your help!

I have been selected for a Diversity Immigrant Visa (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Diversity_Immigrant_Visa) and in order to receive the visa the US consul lady requested, after I presented all other required documents, that I also present a letter of intent from a US firm that is interested in hiring me in my field of expertise. She specifically mentioned that this is a non-binding letter and the firm would have no obligation of employing me.
