Yes, America (the US) is still beating China in the AI race, but it's got no way to keep the Chinese models from catching up. Also the amount of money burned in the US on AI is unfathomable. From that metric China may as well win with minimal investment and very little waste.

perhaps they meant "beating" as in aggressively trying to disadvantage while losing the "leading" distance?
America doesn't have anything close to Seedance 2.5
As far as I know, there is no American AI company that is actually profitable.
So how do you define "beating"?
Is it the one who sets more or less money on fire?
