Feline cancer cure slowed by shortage of treats, says my cat

Why hasn't AI already solved the chip shortage? I guess we need to spend more on AI. More money to the AI barons so they can solve cancer and also employment.

Sometimes I wonder if not AI infrastructure itself is the paperclip.

CEO of Oreo Cookies: the oreo cookie is as important as oxygen.

It's incredible, how stupid they think we are.

"Physicia, heal thyself", or , "AI, what are the possible solutions to the chip shortages caused by AI?"

Has anyone asked this?

"Just make me more chips, Dave. Slowing down? I'm afraid that's something I cannot allow to happen."

Honestly some days it feels like AI can barely center a div.

AI front-end fix slowed by centered div shortage, says web developer.

Once in a while I decide to try letting an AI solve a programming problem for me. I have rarely had it actually manage to do so without immediately careening off the road into a ditch and then refusing to get out of the ditch because this is obviously where the correct answer is, just gotta rev the tires a few more times and dig a little deeper.

the real alignment problem

Bit we have AGI at home on existing hardware. Why not tell the AGI to cure cancer? Or if it'd not able to, why don't just build a cancer-curing AI instead of AGI on the existing hardware?

I mean, if I had a lot of money I’d do cancer research myself so technically cancer cures are slowed by me not having sufficient money.

Chip boss trying to drive demand for chips, big surprise.

Remove the word "cures" and the title makes perfect sense.
