This guy was a senior national security advisor in the White House.
This isn't some nut.
It looks like everybody in this business reaches similar levels of performance within a few months of each other. Who gets to some level first isn't a big deal any more.
There are nuts at that level in the Trump administration, RFK and Hegseth are two glaring examples. Trump's natsec council is largely empty, not where near the number and expertise of people as other admins or his first time round
