Cursor's attempt at a vertical play, owning everything from the LLMs to the Git platform, is probably going to ruffle some more feathers beyond Codex.

Ironically announced on Twitter, blunting the point somewhat.

On the surface, it was a commercial contract termination incident. However, when viewed against the backdrop of Elon Musk's long-term conflict with Sam Altman, it was essentially a strategic tug-of-war involving commercial defense, the competition for a competitive edge, and personal grudges.

"We are making this choice because we cannot be confident that SpaceX will use our technology within our terms of service, based on experience with Elon Musk's companies violating contracts"
