The 48k ZX Spectrum was my first computer and I love these old games.

I now get the Crash annual for myself for Christmas, which has reviews of the new games. Highly recommended for a nostalgia hit.

I love the spectrum. They are quite repairable and even upgradable machines. I was literally able to buy a new ram chip at my local electronics store.

You've got the nostalgia and the technical limitations which are always an interesting challenge. It's no wonder some people who grew on these things and went on to have IT careers want to play with them.

why would anyone have to tell you

and then why would you use an LLM to write a forum post about it?
