Would like to know the thoughts of others around this book who are looking at this in 2026 vs 2009.

Reminds me of the Butlerian Jihad in Dune and how the anti-ai revolt led to the rise of human thinking machines. They're the ones that roll back their eyes in the movies when they're calculating.

In the Lynch version the mentat Thufir has a short rap where he is getting the house's defensive systems in order. Cool stuff.
