I have been following Cory Doctorow's "Enshittification" theory, and now I wonder: why couldn't a country like Switzerland be the one removing their equivalent of the DMCA?

If I understand correctly, they don't need to wait for their politicians to understand the huge opportunity and do it: they as a people can request it through a vote, right?

An entire industry could be built on that, worth billions. Which can totally be justified by "right to repair".
