This is what happens when you give nearly complete immunity to a politician (de facto complete due to his age and the 2/3 requirement for the senate to convict).

If we were to focus on principle over scale, could we not name many others involved in similar practices, from each 'side' and in between the shitstick? And should we not do so?

In a way, it seems somewhat signaling that the precedent was long set, and unspoken rules always effectively 'allowed' it, so here I am, just being more candid about it than stale O..ld Windows have previously encouraged.

Let's not focus on principle over scale, particularly because scotus declared the rules are completely different for the executive.

Others engaged in similar practices do get named. They don't need to be named here.

This is a hair away from the “but Biden” garbage maga runs. The scale IS the real problem not “we’ll all politicians do it sooo.”

Yeah, that misses my point. But enjoy the wheel if you wish. Anyone that can say what you've said to me, simply doesn't care about anything I have to say.

This has become kind of meta, but aside from validating my initial reply, perhaps you can explain your usage of the word; cope. I have seen other teens using it in strange context lately and figure it's time to learn some newspeak.

Though tossing a drive-by MAGA at me was the bigger clue for the age group. The hubris part left me confused, but I suspect you are the type that considers self-definition threatening. You should consider getting accustomed to people not getting in your pre-fab'd boxes on demand. Of course, if your mob is large enough, you can bend the general rule and use force.

Edit: Mucho extra credit if you can cite a single instance of ever being concerned about corruption, especially insider trading before orange man.

You know ZERO about my demographic and your GuEsS fits perfectly with your inability to articulate your point. "Drive by MAGA" is rich too. If the boot fits, lick it. Your constant speculating is likely the driver for you to sit your privileged ass on the fence, shout at the sky about the good ole days and justify a wannabe dictator with what-about-isms.

There is a good argument for barring anyone from being in a position of power like that who is too old to be around for the second half of FAFO. He has nothing to lose but the american people and their global neighbors very much do.

I sometime think we should have two votes for politicians one to get in office and one for how much jail time to serve when they leave (or maybe a bonus). This is more of a joke, but it would be nice to see public servants held accountable to their constituents (and not just the well connected// corporate) for actions while in office.

yes. that‘s the first half of the cause (the other being that he‘s a shameless scammer).
