Ask HN: Why did Fastify never get more hype?

I've been checking current frameworks for Node.js, and it seems, for example, that Hono is quite popular and gets supported by different solutions (e.g. AI agent libraries) much easier than Fastify, despite being relatively young.

I've been thinking why Fastify never got more popular despite being seemingly good, battle-tested, and Matteo Collina's authority.
