There was a big scandal here in Argentina last year because someone cheated with smart glasses in the residency exam for medical doctors.
Probably it's harder to cheat in math than in medicine, but we already had a few cases in math anyway when the TA are not paying attention.
I ask my students to come to the midterms with a classic calculator not a phone. The type of calculator that have plastic buttons like a BlackBerry (they didn't get the joke last time :( ).
