The post with the title:

Gauntlet AI will fly you to Austin, train you in AI, give $200k+ job (gauntletai.com)

The post doesn’t have any author attributed or comments. Is this something new?

Comments

70 percent of people hired from gauntlet have lost their jobs in under 8 months and 1/3 of each cohort does not get a job.

It is not new: YC-affiliated companies have access to a backend to allow hiring postings as a perk, and it's been this way since mostly the beginning. Gauntlet AI is a pivot from the ignomous Lambda School (YC S17)/BloomTech: https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=48506850

...however, Gauntlet AI is several degrees separated from its original YC company which is why the HN submission omitted the YC batch year infomation, which is sketch and tbh it should be a requirement for those posts.

If I'm not mistaken, isn't this the same person behind Lambda School? I saw the same ad like a year or two ago.

That's gross. Removing the ability to comment is especially bad.

Shows as upvoted by me also though I never touched it.

Seems like a scam no way I would trust this

HN, the end is at hand ...
