No, configuration files for AI coding assistants are not harnesses. A harness is a proper build system, with proper test coverage, and much more, so you can keep the AI in place, and not destroying your project. With multi-config options, eg other compilers, cross platform support, asan, ubsan, pre-commit and such. autotools basically.
