As we saw in last few HN posts Meta’s Ray-Ban creepy privacy violation stories are real and alarms are ringing. Which countries will crack down first?

Not having an "Ask HN" in front of this gives me strong prediction market vibes.

I don't care about the glasses but hope cameras on glasses in public spaces are somehow prevented.

I hope it happens quickly. These days I see many wearing those even in birthday parties as they want to capture every moment. But I find it pretty intrusive and awkward as if I’m on stage all the time

Hopefully mine, have a pair of glasses that look like those that I can't wear because of how uncomfortable people look when they see them on my face.

Most probably EU. They are intrusive

Luxotica are an eu company which makes me think the eu wont ban them

The EU, but only if they support VPN

None. They advance the panopticon.
