It wouldn't be hosted such that uptimes are an issue, it would get back to git's distributed roots. Like Tangled, but with private repos. Chat would be great (github's biggest missed opportunity imo), but the real moat at GitHub is that sweet sweet (free) action time.
is CI/CD a tie breaker?
Their free actions and robust ecosystem is a huge moat
