Ask HN: Best local agent setup for Markdown notes?

I have a Macbook Pro with 24GB of RAM and an M4 processor. I have a lot of Obsidian notes (i.e. markdown files with links between them) that I'd like to query and manipulate locally with an agent.

What's the best harness/model combination for this use case? The kind of prompt I'd like to use is: "Create a new markdown note that links to all of my journal entries that deal with birding."
