Tons of good posts get submitted to HN and die in /new within an hour or two. It's happened to me quite a few times, so I thought: why not bring those posts to the front page?
HackerFork watches /new and imports posts that land at 2-10 points after a couple hours enough that someone upvoted them, but not enough to break through. Those posts get a 12-hour ranking window so they actually have time to be seen.
Would love feedback on whether the concept is useful and what score range makes sense.
