SHOW HN: I scraped and organized 50k Shopify stores into a dataset

On HN

I was building an outreach list for a SaaS product targeting ecommerce stores and ended up scraping and organizing a large dataset of Shopify stores.

The dataset includes 50,000+ Shopify stores with:

- store domains - business names - niche categories - publicly available business emails

Originally this was just for internal use, but I cleaned it up and turned it into a structured CSV database. It might be useful for founders building tools for ecommerce, agencies doing outreach, or anyone researching Shopify stores. Curious to hear feedback from the HN community.

Nice work. I released a smaller URL-only version on Hugging Face if anyone wants a starting point: https://huggingface.co/datasets/snncn/shopify-websites (~10K stores, growing to 30K)

Also building a contact form outreach tool on top of it — still testing, but the early results are promising. Feel free to use the list.
