The GUI S-curve is peaking

I am not deeply enough immersed in the AI-hype world to fully understand what this person is trying to say, but if there was a GUI S-curve, it peaked a long time ago: before the browsers took over.

If we're suggesting that "chat", as in typing back and forth with an AI, is going to be an ordinary functional way of getting things done, I have doubts. I have yet to meet a chatbot worth any time spent.

What, like "Generate a GUI that obeys all expected business rules and lets me do X Y and Z conveniently"?

That sounds like even more of a lift than "adapt the documentation sample in certain ways for me."
