Tell HN: You can no longer see the token count in Claude code

Anthropic solved their system overload situation in a really bad way: You can no longer see the token count in claude Code and it just opaquely slows you down by slowing the token generation. The same tasks that used to get done so fast now take forever. Any one else facing this ?
