I built Word Pulse as a fun, educational word game for my family. It’s a browser game where you connect letters on a pulsing grid to form words and try to keep things in equilibrium.

Play it: https://scrambleletters.com/apps/word-pulse

How it’s built: Svelte 5 for the UI, with a custom word check pipeline based on the Moby word list (preprocessed into a fast lookup structure). All gameplay runs in the browser.

Why I made it: I wanted something snappy, kid-friendly, and slightly "thinky" that encourages pattern spotting under light pressure, not just another Wordle clone.

What I’d love feedback on: - Difficulty curve and pacing of the “pulse” mechanic - Dictionary choices (UK/US spellings, obscure words, minimum word length) - UX rough edges (accessibility, touch interactions, onboarding/help)

Hope that's ok. Thanks! Ben
