Ask HN: Using Stripe Atlas to start a LLC for a small side project?

I'm working on a small side project that I think can make some money. I'm okay to pay Stripe Atlas's fees, but I want to minimize the hassle of creating and maintaining the business entity.

For anyone who has used Stripe Atlas in the past, would you recommend it?

Are there alternative services I should consider instead?

If it is relevant I'm based out of NYC.

Hi, at the moment I am going for Ads with my new page, but I was definetely thinking about using Srtripe Atlas as well for SAAS payments.

And yes there are plenty (15) of alternatives: https://alternativeto.net/software/stripe-atlas/

I used it twice. It's good. You can also just take payments under your own name if it's a small project but otherwise stripe atlas is good. Only pay the delaware llc fee every year and that's it.

Do you pay someone to file your taxes?

An accountant would be my starting point because accounting is mostly where the hassle lies. Good luck.
