Ask HN: How vibe coding apps are retaining users?
Today, I read the news of Lovable raising $200M and becoming a unicorn!
The team is super talented, all Lovable, Bolt etc are doing really good but I do not understand how they will retain users?
Whenever I have talked to people who vibe coded apps using them, they do it once in a while for the sake of fun and never go back to them. Developers are not using them much, then how will these apps retain users?

They don't. That's why you'll only hear growth metrics like ARR and not "sustainability" metrics like user retention.
devs perspective; imo they're not targeted towards dev, instead they're trying to capture non tech founders who just want to test out a product and/or the group of people shipping fast ( slop ) into the market.
