Ask HN: Is there a coming dev boom for agent tools?
I lived through the internet transition where suddenly every company had to have a website, then again the same with mobile apps. I am busy currently writing agent tools to allow llms to have access to my company's internal data/processes. I feel like soon every company will realize they want agent tools specific to their business and much like the previous booms it will go from cutting edge to must have. Thoughts?

As soon as we figure out how to make AI more truthful and less hallucinate-y, absolutely.
But seriously, I think yes, but I imagine a slower curve as it’s harder to apply a non-deterministic tool to most applications.
