Apple just pulled back the curtain on its new Apple Intelligence lineup. Think of it as their take on on-device AI—live translation, smarter image recognition, Genmoji, and better Shortcuts support. But if you were expecting a totally revamped Siri, that’s going to take a bit longer. What stood out? Their laser focus on privacy. Most of the AI runs right on your device. And if it does need cloud power, it’ll only happen with your permission, through what they’re calling Private Cloud Compute. Is this cautious, privacy-centric AI rollout appropriate?
